I am very happy to introduce the newest member of the Christine Jonson Patterns staff, Auria Nascimento. Auria has her bachelores degree in Fashion Design from Wayne State University and is an excellent seamstress.

She will be sewing sample garments using current collection fabrics so that you can see the fabrics and patterns in action!

Hello everyone! 

I’m Auria Nascimento and I will be sharing my experiences working with the Christine Jonson pattern line in her featured fabrics.  I hope that my articles are helpful. 

Sometimes I might change a thing or two in the original pattern and this is just to show that you too can make it your own.   In Christine’s book, Life in the Little Black Dress, she discusses ways to make her designs compliment not just your figure but your personality. You can make tweaks like changing the length, adding a design line, changing the neckline or color block.  These are just a few examples of the possibilities.  Join me and let’s have some fun with it.
