BaseWear Two #1025
Straight Skirt w/ Flounce

Flirty and quick to make, I shortened this pattern to hit just above the knee.  The skirt is paired with the reversible, sleeveless Keyhole Top from pattern #1010 .

After shortening the skirt pattern to the desired length (keep in mind the flounce will add to the total length at the bottom of the skirt.)  I trued up or evened up the Christine Jonson Pattern #1025 BaseWear Two | Straight Skirt w/ Founce | In Studio Sample Garment Maker | Home Sewing Patternsside seam line which was now .25 inches wider at the bottom.

I added this same .25 inches to the side seams of the flounce pattern piece.

After you have determined the desired length, and corrected the pattern, construct as directed.  Have this really cute skirt ready to turn heads in just a couple of hours.
